These Motorola Monitor CRT Displays were available in various configurations to cater to different user needs. The MD3570-74 Series was offered in a chassis version, offering a convenient and ready-to-use solution.  The MD3970-74 was delivered as a complete kit, including the 12" CRT; this option allowed users to select the most suitable configuration based on their requirements and preferences, providing versatility and choice in their display solutions. The QES1510-061 directly replaces both the Motorola MD3570 Series and the MD3970 Series, offering a more modern and reliable solution for your Giddings & Lewis 8000 machine. Our Motorola MD3570 Series and MD3970 Series monitor upgrades mount directly on the original CRT mounting holes on the original monitor chassis. The QES1510-061 is a 10.4-inch monochrome LCD monitor with a 10-pin Edge Card input video connector for the interface. This 10.4" LCD with LED backlight provides superior clarity and visibility compared to the traditional CRT display while consuming less power and generating less heat. Upgrading to a more reliable LCD monitor is the most efficient and dependable solution for promptly restoring functionality to your CNC machine controller. This is crucial due to the inherent unreliability of CRT monitors in CNC machines, which can lead to prolonged operational downtime, particularly during critical periods.
